Lily Collins Shines In A Nude, Crystal-Covered Corset Gown By Vivienne Westwood

Lily Collins attended the London premiere of The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical on Sunday, wearing a striking Vivienne Westwood gown. For the performance and charity gala in support of The Elton John Aids Foundation, Collins opted for an off-the-shoulder dress by the iconic British designer that featured a draped, corseted bodice, thigh-high slit, and crystals all over.

Joining countless other It-girls, including Dua Lipa, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Jodie Comer, who have all slipped into figure-hugging Westwood gowns for film premieres over the years, this particular styling situation marks an exciting evolution for the Emily in Paris star.

Styled by Andrew Mukamal, who counts Margot Robbie and Billie Eilish among his clients, Collins has been delivering a string of standout looks on recent red carpets. Her connection to London’s theatre scene has also been in the spotlight, with her starring role in Bess Wohl’s Barcelona alongside Álvaro Morte. For that premiere, she opted for a sleek Versace gown with a cowl neckline.

For Sunday's event, Collins paired the shimmering gown with nude Manolo Blahnik sandals and a smattering of Cartier jewels, and opted for understated makeup of soft brown eyeshadow and a nude lip, while her sleek brunette bob framed her face.

The premiere celebrated the highly anticipated West End adaptation of the 2006 film, based on Lauren Weisberger’s best-selling novel. Vanessa Williams takes on the role of Miranda Priestly, the commanding editor-in-chief of Runway, with Georgie Buckland playing Andy Sachs. The musical boasts an original score by Sir Elton John, who attended the event alongside notable guests such as Elizabeth Hurley and Donatella Versace.

Meanwhile, interest in The Devil Wears Prada remains high, with Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, and Emily Blunt reuniting earlier this year at the Screen Actors Guild Awards. Speculation around a sequel to the 2006 movie persists, with original screenwriter Aline Brosh McKenna reportedly involved – stay tuned.
