She's known for her raven hair, but now Lily Allen is testing whether blondes have more fun. The actor and singer posted selfies of her hair transformation to her Instagram stories on 24 Jan. as she showcased her straight, strawberry blonde blunt bob to her followers.

Allen is no stranger to experimenting with her look, but she has become synonymous with dark hair colour over the years. While she tried a micro fringe, side partings, and even been blonde before in 2015, this latest iteration is quite the transformation. The selfies of her most recent look show her hair chopped bluntly at the chin with her fringe scooped to the side as she accompanied with snaps with a simple caption reading "Hai". Wearing a chunky knit and with minimal makeup, the star is following in the chic footsteps of Hailey Bieber, who also recently debuted a blunt bob for 2023.

Allen, who is married to "Stranger Things" star David Harbour, recently went viral for defending "nepo babies", the short for nepotism babies. The 37-year-old is the daughter of actor Keith Allen and film producer Alison Owen, and waded into the "nepo babies" debate in December, defending the children of famous parents and claiming they are often "scapegoated" in the industry. She has also spoken out about an abortion she had in light of the Roe v. Wade ruling in the US.
