Move over GHD, Lidl is making waves on the hair scene, launching a range of hair styling tools which start at just £9.99.

While we'd love to be able to fork out for the Dyson Airwrap, let's face it, it's quite an investment. And that's where Lidl has stepped in, launching a range that includes a hot air styler, hair straightening brush, hair dryer and range of hair brushes.

Dubbed by the retailer as a 'game-changer' for unruly hair, the hair straightening brush costs just £14.99, and promises to tame your mane in minutes, leaving behind smooth, silky hair.

The hot brush not only straightens but also adds volume and body, with a ceramic heat element that heats up quickly, and is adjustable from 120-210°C.

For those who aren't after a straight finish, the multi-action hot air styler is the one for you, coming with a whopping six attachments.

Each attachment dries and styles, making the nifty tool super easy to use, and equally as cost efficient – just £11.99.

A staple for every woman, Lidl's new 2,200W 'iconic' hair dryer comes in at less than a tenner (£9.99). Aiming to make your hair frizz free and fabulous, it comes with a diffuser and concentrator attachments, so you can recreate salon looks in the comfort of your own home.

With hot styling all covered, there's also a range of hair brushes for every hair need, with a styling, detangling and travel brush all part of the new collection.

The new collection is available in pink and black, and is in stores now. We've hear from Lidl it's only while stocks last, so make sure you get in there quickly – your hair deserves it!

Even if you're already kitted out with a host of hot hair styling tools, you may in fact be due for some new ones. Little do people know, but hair straighteners can actually expire, and if left too long can cause hair breakage and strip away natural oils.

However, there are three easy signs to tell if your styler has gone out of date, and whether or not you need to hit up a Lidl, pronto.
