Lil Nas X wowed in a dramatic white gown on the red carpet for the BET Awards on Sunday, while Zendaya paid tribute to Beyonce with her outfit choice.

The Montero (Call Me By Your Name) singer turned heads with the statement dress by Andrea Rossi, which featured a full skirt and corset top complete with blue hand-drawn landscape prints reminiscent of the patterns seen in hit Netflix period drama Bridgerton.

Not content with one showstopping outfit, Lil Nas X then opted for a quick costume change and returned to the red carpet rocking a '70s-inspired cream suit by Richard Quinn boasting a vintage rose print with crystal embroidery and flared trousers.

Meanwhile, Zendaya thrilled fashion fans by stepping out in a vintage Versace dress originally worn by Beyonce at the BET Awards in 2003, when she famously performed Crazy in Love for the first time alongside her husband Jay-Z.

The striking purple dress features a neon lime stripe, plus a plunging neckline to the navel and cut out detail across the upper body. Beyonce's version was transformed into a minidress with the help of her mother Tina Knowles, who took to Instagram to voice her approval of Zendaya bringing the iconic gown back to life.

"Love Zendaya in this beautiful vintage Versace dress !! I cut it short for Beyonce for Bet awards 2003 . Crazy in Love Performance! Work Zendaya (sic)," she wrote followed by a series of flame and heart symbols.

Other standouts at the star-studded awards ceremony included Ciara, who donned a full-length jumpsuit embellished with crystals, a muted black leather belt and matching jewelled knee-high boots from Alexandre Vauthier's spring couture 21 collection.

Cardi B revealed she is pregnant for the second time when she took to the stage for a surprise performance with her husband Offset's rap group Migos. Cardi proudly showed off her happy news by wearing a black jewelled bodysuit complete with a sheer mesh panel over her stomach to reveal a blossoming baby bump.
