Lil Nas X and Hari Nef have been tapped to star in Ugg's new Pride campaign.

Ahead of Pride Month in June, the Old Town Road singer and model/actress have teamed up with the footwear brand to star in campaign imagery and a video in which they sport Pride-inspired versions of Ugg's Fluff Yeah slides at a disco or prom.

In the images, the rapper be seen wearing a shiny purple jacket and matching trousers, a chain necklace, crown, and rainbow-coloured socks and slides.

In addition to the campaign, the Montero (Call Me By Your Name) star and the Transparent actress participated in Ugg's "Proud Prom" virtual event, which was designed to celebrate self-identity and love within the LBGTQ+ community. The event was hosted in partnership with the Pacific Pride Foundation, which provides services to the HIV/AIDS and LGBTQ+ communities of Santa Barbara County in California, and GLAAD, one of the leading non-profit organisations for the LGBTQ+ community in America.

"This was our fifth year hosting 'Proud Prom' with Pacific Pride Foundation," Andrea O'Donnell, president of Ugg, said in a statement, reports WWD. "We chose to showcase real, bold and wonderful individuals celebrating a virtual prom in a safe and welcoming environment with amazing youth and allies and friends of the brand, like Lil Nas X and Hari Nef."

The footwear brand is also releasing a limited-edition Pride collection of all-gender footwear, accessories, and apparel in Pride-inspired colourways, with the offering including hoodies, T-shirts, skirts, and socks.

The company will donate $25 (£18) from each purchase of its Disco Stripe Slides to GLAAD, with a maximum donation of $125,000 (£88,500).
