Liberty Poole says 'Dancing on Ice' training is "harder than people think".
The former 'Love Island' star has admitted she's been "as stiff as a wooden stick" practicing for the upcoming series of the ITV ice skating contest - which returns to screens early next year - and she's admitted she's found both the technical side and the dancing tricky to get the hand of.
Liberty - who shot to fame in this summer's series of the ITV2 dating show - told OK!: "I have been busy but I'm focussing on 'Dancing on Ice' training, doing that Monday to Friday. Trying to get good, it's harder than people think!"
She continued: "They've all done pretty well, obviously I'm hoping to do well on the show as well.
"Obviously, I love the glitz and the glam and I love skating in general, so hopefully, I'll do well – fingers crossed.
"But, I am as stiff as a wooden stick so I'm going to need to improve on that. And, the dance moves I'm going to need to improve on that."
And while the blonde beauty claims to have been struggling to get to grips with "tricks" on the ice, her mum actually used to be a figure skater and she frequents her local ice rink.
She said recently: "I grew up watching 'Dancing On Ice' and my mum actually used to be a figure skater.
"I ice skate as a hobby sometimes so I can get around the rink but I can't do any tricks, no pirouetting or anything so I'm really looking forward to pushing myself and learning as much as I possibly can.
"Not just skating around the ice but actually dancing on ice. Bring it on!"
'Coronation Street' legend Sally Dynevor and Happy Mondays dancer Bez, plus the likes of Ben Foden, Regan Gascoigne and Stef Reid are among the stars set to compete on the 2022 show.
Each week, 12 celebs will skate live with their professional partners in a bid to impress both the panel and the viewers who will ultimately decide who wins.
