Liam Payne’s girlfriend shares unseen home footage in tribute after 1D star’s death
Kate Cassidy has paid a heart-wrenching tribute to her late boyfriend Liam Payne by sharing a sweet montage of unseen home videos to TikTok. In the video, influencer Kate and musician Liam - who passed away aged 31 in October - are seen sharing intimate moments such as dancing with one another and sharing kisses, while the song Fade Into You by Mazzy Star played over the clips.
She captioned the video with a simple 'I love you', as lyrics such as 'I wanna hold the hand inside you' and 'I wanna take the breath that's true' played over the stream of clips. One showed Kate in Liam's arms as he picked her up while they laughed, while others showed tender moments between the pair at home, and many were from holidays they had taken together - including a trip to Disneyland and a snowy getaway.
Many fans took to the comment section to send their love to Kate after watching the emotional video. "I’m so sorry. You’re gonna get through this I promise," wrote one user. Another shared: "Okay I’m sobbing. Thank you for loving him until the very end. I’m so sorry for your loss. Please stay strong we’re all here for you. He’s always watching you he’s your guardian angel forever."

A third user wrote: "Oh Kate. He will forever and always be by your side every step you take. He will always be proud of you" while many shared how the video made them emotional.
Liam tragically died after a fall from the third-floor balcony of his hotel room at the CasaSur Hotel in Buenos Aires during his holiday on October 16. Kate was in Argentina with him for weeks before but had left just days prior to his death.
Following the news, Kate shared a statement to Instagram where she described herself as 'shattered' and revealed Liam had hoped to marry her within the next year. Kate wrote: "I don't even know where to begin. My heart is shattered in ways I can't put into words. I wish you could see the huge impact you've had on the world, even as it feels so dark right now. You brought so much happiness and positivity to everyone-millions of fans, your family, friends, and especially me. You are so incredibly loved.
"You are - because I can't say were - my best friend, the love of my life, and everyone you touched felt just as special as I did. Your energy was contagious, lighting up every room you walked into.
"None of this feels real, and I can't wrap my head around this new reality of not having you here. I'm struggling to figure out how to live in a world without you by my side. Together, we got to be kids again, always finding joy in the smallest things.
"Liam, you had the kindest soul and the most fun-loving spirit. It feels like I've lost the best part of myself. I can't imagine a day without your laughter and love. You brought so much light into my life."
She continued: "A few weeks ago, we sat outside on a beautiful evening manifesting our lives together. I keep your note close, even though you told me not to look at it. It said, "Me and Kate to marry within a year/engaged & together forever 444." Liam, I know we'll be together forever, but not in the way we had planned. You'll always be with me. I've gained a guardian angel. I will love you for the rest of my life and beyond, carrying our dreams and memories with me everywhere I go. Forever yours, Katelyn 444."
