Noel Gallagher is the former Oasis guitarist who has written some of the greatest songs of all-time. Tracks like 'Wonderwall', 'Don't Look Back In Anger' and 'Live Forever' have become the soundtrack to our lives. Noel is also very talented at insulting his peers in the music business! Noel was more than just a little dismayed that Ed managed to sell out several nights at Wembley Stadium. Speaking to NME in January 2015, he said: "I don’t think I can live in a world where that’s even possible. When you hear that kind of polished pop and then there’s a ginger guy with a f****** guitar it seems subversive, but it’s f****** not.”

It's safe to say that Noel was not a fan of the boy band that was formed on 'The X Factor' and gave us Harry Styles. Speaking to GQ magazine in 2013, he raged: "F****** idiots… They’re all winning. No one’s losing! The only people who are losing are idiots like me at 9.30 in the morning when you’re trying to get the kids out the door for school, and they’re f****** murdering one of Blondie’s songs."

The feud between Oasis and Robbie Williams started all the way back back in 1995 after the pop star quit Take That and befriended Liam and Noel at Glastonbury. It was a short-lived friendship as Noel soon branded Robbie "the fat dancer from Take That" - a label that would stick - and the start of a war of words that has lasted almost 28 years!

Unlike many, Noel definitely, not maybe, thinks that Kanye's talents are overrated. Speaking to Rolling Stone in 2015, he said: "Somebody needs to buy that dumba** a dictionary so he can look up the word 'artistry'... Get him a dictionary from me, I’ll f****** sign it and give it to him so he can look it up."

Noel shared his honest opinion on what he thought of Radiohead to Spin in 2008. It's safe to say that Thom Yorke's morose music is not on his stereo speakers. He raged: "Making records should be fun. I remember seeing Radiohead on the cover of a magazine in the UK when 'In Rainbows' came out, and it said, 'Radiohead: The Pain.' "And I thought, ‘Won’t you f****** give it a rest, you bunch of moaning children?’ The pain? Of making an album? I don’t buy it. If you’re not having a laugh, then don’t do it.”

It's fair to say that Noel has no respect for Tom Chaplin and his bandmates. Discussing the 'Somewhere Only We Know' group, he said: "I feel sorry for Keane. No matter how hard they try they’ll always be squares. Even if one of them started injecting heroin into his c*** people would go, ‘Yeah but your dad was a vicar, good night.'”

Noel was not impressed when former White Stripes frontman Jack White penned a song for Coca-Cola. He raged: "Jack White has just written a song for Coca-Cola. End of. He ceases to be in the club. And he looks like Zorro on doughnuts, I don't believe in adverts."

After Noel had branded Lewis Capaldi an "idiot" during a radio interview, the 'Someone You Loved' singer proudly took to Twitter to state it was one of his "dreams come true". In an interview with Variety in 2019, Noel followed up his attack by saying: "F****** Chewbacca should enjoy his 15 minutes. The greatest day of his life that I s****** him off or called him an idiot. It’s the greatest day of his f****** life so far. He’s just thinking, ‘Wow!’ "Well, I know you’re Scottish and all that, but f****** hell! It is like a third world country, but for f**** sake, man, you must have had a better day than this. Surely!”

Noel is definitely not a fan of Madonna's quest to stay looking young. He ranted: "Six hours! In a gym! You sleep for 8, right - so that's 14 gone already. What do you do with your one hour off? Do you want to get so supple that you can eventually stick your own head up your a***?"

Noel's war of words with his younger brother Liam has raged since he quit Oasis in August 2009 following a huge backstage bust-up between the siblings before they were about to headline a festival in Paris. But the insults regularly flew when they were bandmates. In April 2009, Noel gave Q magazine his definitive assessment of singer Liam. He said: "He’s rude, arrogant, intimidating and lazy. He’s the angriest man you’ll ever meet. "He’s like a man with a fork in a world of soup.”
