Let's talk about the Versace house in Selling Sunset season 3...

From House Beautiful

The most extravagant house so far on Selling Sunset hasn't been Davina Potratz's $75 million listing, or the jaw-dropping $40 million mansion that Jason Oppenheim sold, but in fact the 'Versace house' visited by Chrishell Stause, Mary Fitzgerald and Amanza Smith.

It's not the real Versace Mansion in Miami Beach, Florida (now known as Villa Casa Casuarina), but this Queensborough Lane house in Los Angeles simply gets to inherit the name thanks to its Versace-themed interiors and design details.

Referred to as Versace Mansion West, this one-of-a-kind estate is located in the gated community of Bel Air Crest. Built in 1998 and described as a 'warm and inviting architectural gem', it has five bedrooms and six bathrooms which, compared to some of the other properties we've seen on Selling Sunset, is pretty modest! With 8,542 sq ft of space, it was on the market for $8,950,000, with a potential commission of $268,500.

In episode five of season three of the Netflix series, Chrishell, Mary and Amanza visited the lavish property for a house tour, and while the designer interiors are certainly worth talking about, it won't be to everybody's taste.

'When this house first hit the market, we knew we had to see it in person,' said Chrishell in the episode. 'It looked so crazy in the photos, a bunch of us have just given it the moniker of the "Versace house" just because there is so much Versace in the house; wallpaper, glasses, dishes, all these things that I never even knew Versace made.'

As you enter through the grand front gates and step into the welcoming hallway, you're greeted with a double bridal staircase and a spectacular hanging crystal chandelier above.

In fact, there's a lot of chandeliers in this house, a lot of Versace wallpaper along the corridors, and even more Gianni Versace-inspired details. There's also five magnificent fireplaces, a plush cinema room with large red sofas and a popcorn machine, and a Bentley Motors leather sofa with matching embossed logo cushions.

During the house tour, Chrishell told Mary and Amanza: 'I feel like for $9 million that would be how much it would cost just for the furniture and all the Versace stuff.'

Our favourite part of the mansion, however, (and probably Chrishell's) is the garden. The beautiful outdoor space is made for entertaining and the double staircase makes for the best entrance to any party. Outside there's a lawn, swimming pool, spa, lounge area with four poster day beds, and an outdoor kitchen with a fire pit and BBQ.

Season three of Selling Sunset was filmed late last year and, according to the listing, it's now off the market. The mansion was listed with Shawn Elliott and Ivana Octaviani of Nest Seekers International real estate firm. Shawn has already appeared in season two of Selling Sunset, while Ivana featured alongside Chrishell, Mary and Amanza in the Versace house episode.

The Nest Seekers International agents have previously starred in Bravo's hit show, Million Dollar Listing New York, and now more agents from The Hamptons will appear in Netflix's newest series launch, Million Dollar Beach House. If you're a fan of Selling Sunset, you'll probably enjoy watching this one too.
