Let’s Make-Up: the new beauty launches to have on your radar in June

We have a bit of a thing for beauty products over at ES Best.

Each month, all types of lotions and potions across makeup, skincare, haircare and more cross our desks and we take it upon ourselves to review each and every one so that you don’t have to. It’s a tough job but someone has to do it.

In our Let’s Make-Up round-up, we bring you a selection of the tried and tested, freshest, and buzziest beauty launches that are worth adding to your basket. If we include it below, then you know it’s a good ‘un.

June is finally here and boy, do we have the routine switch-ups that you need to prepare your skincare, hair and scent for the summer season. From the launch of new brands - Peace Out Skin, Khali Min, SLMD Skincare and Plant DPT, to some of our firm favourite expanding their offerings into previous unchartered territory (hello Cologne de Parfum from Boy Smells!), let’s just say its a very exciting time to swap out your empties.

Boy Smells Cologne de Parfum

The LA-born label made a splash on UK soil with its candles that have become the ultimate shelfie essential. The gender neutral perfume house has now made a play for the world of fine fragrances with five new scents combining both masculine and feminine notes to be worn by anyone and everyone. The inclusive range feels like a super modern approach, from the refined design, to the scents themselves with something to suit all olfactory preferences - even the names!

There’s Suede Pony with suede and leather notes, Rose Load with a spicy pink peppercorn and seductive rose, Violet Ends with violet and unexpected smokiness, Tantrum – a green aroma and Flor de la Virgen that merges feminine jasmine florals with suede.

Aesop Tame Hair Serum and Sculpt Hair Polish

The chic apothecary label behind your favourite hand wash has got two new drops to tame your barnet. As we head into summer, these new launches couldn’t be more timely with a Tame Hair Serum to tackle heat-induced frizz and Sculpt Hair Polish to maintain shape and structure.

Caudalie Vinofresh Natural Stick Deodorant

Luxury French label Caudalie has a couple of new launches that you need on your radar. First and foremost, the brand is now offering a natural deodorant with eucalyptus and prebiotic grape water that work to leave your underarms healthier, odour-free and hydrated. Effective while being kind to skin, the formula is vegan and free from aluminium, bicarbonate of soda, alcohol, silicone and fragrance. What’s more, it won’t leave a white cast or irritate skin. Josh Wood Colour Glaze

Colour expert Josh Wood is encouraging us all to get experimental with our locks. Pastel hair shades are trending and you can tap into the trend commitment-free with this semi-permanent shade that washes out after six shampoos. Born in London but blending premium Egyptian oils and botanicals from around the world, the products are designed to repair your hair and strengthen each strand. At the moment, the two-strong line-up includes the Rescue Oil and Clean Cream. The lightweight oil is made with nut, flower, and seed oils as well as Nicaraguan Hibiscus, Egyptian Jojoba and Moringa oils to deeply nourish and leave locks silky smooth. It has a very light citrus and herbal scent and can be easily incorporated into your routine.
