When the Great British Bake Off first announced the news that it would be moving to Channel 4 (with or without Mary Berry), it’s safe to say the nation was left utterly heartbroken.
Admittedly, a tent without comedy duo Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc was not something we had ever envisioned. But when the revamped show hit our television screens earlier this summer we (rather reluctantly) fell head over heels for new judge, Prue Leith.
And it wasn’t merely her infectious smile or witty remarks that won us over but her wardrobe.
Yes, little did we know the 76-year-old would become fashion’s newest darling thanks to her penchant for magpie jewels and surprisingly enviable collection of spectacles.
