One of the highlights of the festive season is seeing our favourite restaurants and takeaways launch their Christmas menus.
It's good news for fans of LEON - known for its fast food with natural ingredients. The chain has just launched its festive menu and the options look delicious.
The stand-out piece for us has to be the return of the bestselling Pigs on a Blanket Muffin. Made with British pork sausage, it's topped with cranberry sauce in a lightly toasted sourdough muffin.
LEON is also increasing its burger options for vegans or those who just wish to go meat-free. Its sNOw Turk*y Burger offers a meat-free alternative to turkey in the form of a brand new crispy vegan 'turk*y' patty. This is served with Christmassy red cabbage, Gouda-style cheeze, cranberry sauce and crunchy slaw, with a dollop of sage and onion mayo.
For those who prefer to keep it traditional and opt for turkey, the Turkey Christmassaman Curry includes a delicious offering of turkey, roasted potatoes and carrots, coconut milk, galangal and cardamom, ginger and lemongrass; all finished with a good sprinkling of crispy onions.
Other festive offerings, ideal for anyone with a sweet tooth, include its Blood Orange and Cacao Porridge and Pistachio, White Chocolate and Ginger Tiffin, which can be paired perfectly with a festive Marzipan Latte or Cinnamon & Salted Caramel Mocha. And of course, no Christmas meal would be complete without a mince pie!
LEON's festive menu is now available in-store, with prices starting from £2.
