Leonardo Dicaprio arrived solo at the Oscars 2020, leading many onlookers to believe that he had chosen to leave girlfriend Camila Morrone at home for the night.
That was, until we spotted the 22-year-old model wafting every so gracefully down the red carpet, completely separately to her Wolf of Wall Street beau.
Dicaprio seemed to be proudly socialising with everybody else at the Academy Awards, including a heartfelt embrace with Catch Me If You Can co-star Tom Hanks and, of course, his current BFF Brad Pitt.
But to our dismay, the 45-year-old Titanic chose not to pose on the red carpet run with his girlfriend of
This behaviour isn't particularly out of the ordinary for Dicaprio though. He is notoriously reticent about his personal life and doesn't often parade his relationships in front of the cameras at big events.
Typically, the actor has brought his mother Irmelin Indenbirken to awards shows, rather than his current squeeze.
In fact, it's been quite a long time since DiCaprio brought a romantic date to an awards show - the last time being when he was on the arm of Gisele Bündchen at the Oscars in 2005.
Eagle eyed viewers, however, did spot the fact that Dicaprio and Morrone were seated together inside the Academy Awards, when they were captured on camera together reacting to Janelle Monae's opening performance. And then once again as Brad Pitt was accepting his Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, during which he thanked his Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood co-star.

One of the reasons why Leonardo Dicaprio might be reluctant to display his relationship for the cameras, is that the press have dedicated many column inches to discussing the 23-year age gap between the pair.
Though Dicaprio has yet to say anything particularly direct on the subject, Morrone has addressed people's concerns, saying: ‘There's so many relationships in Hollywood—and in the history of the world—where people have large age gaps.
‘I just think anyone should be able to date who they want to date.’
Hopefully we will soon see more clips of the pair boogying together at one of the famous Oscars after-parties.
