Lenny Kravitz regrets some of his past fashion choices.
During an interview with Highsnobiety, the 59-year-old veteran singer, who is known for his often-eccentric outfits, was asked if he ever regretted some of his past fashion choices.
"It happens all the time," Lenny told the publication. "But who cares? You're not going to grow if everything's perfect all the time."
The American Woman singer has previously said that he credits the women in his life for influencing his unique style, including his grandmother, mother, aunts, and his exes. In his memoir, Let Love Rule, he said that his ex-wife, actress Lisa Bonet, had inspired him to get his nose pierced, just as she had.
Lenny also stated during the interview that his late mother, actress Roxie Roker, had been supportive of his distinctive style. He recalled showing his mum a skirt that had been designed for him by a former girlfriend.
The musician said, "My friends were like, 'Your mom's going to freak.' We were all nervous. She looked me up and down and said, 'If you're gonna wear that skirt, you got to change them shoes."
He added, "One thing about my mother, she never judged anybody. She just loved."
