Leighton Meester’s newly cut micro-bangs are *so* unlike Blair Waldorf
Hey Upper East Siders, Gossip Girl here and do I have the biggest news story for you? Spotted at the Shazam! Fury Of The Gods premiere alongside her husband, Adam Brody, Blair Waldorf... I mean, Leighton Meester debuts a brand new haircut. Looks like Queen B just confirmed micro-bangs are back on trend...
OK, GG nostalgia aside (sorry, not sorry), the two actors took to the Warner Bros. movie premiere just a few days ago to celebrate Adam's role as 'Super Hero Freddy'. Now, as thrilled as we are for hubby Meester, all eyes (well, at least ours) were on Leighton's freshly cut full fringe.
Although her bangs aren't all that new – she first debuted the face-framing chop last November – Leighton has most definitely had an inch or two taken off the ends. Before we get to the grand reveal, to compare, here's a look at the before style:

Welcoming in the upcoming spring season in style, the star has opted for a recently popular itsy bitsy crop. Now, as tempting as it is to band micro-fringes with the 50s era, many celebrities have proven their timeless feel having resurrected the style within the last few years. Just take Florence Pugh and Lily Collins' latest hair looks as prime examples!
However, unlike these two girlies, in true BW fashion and going against the grain, Leighton has opted to style her cut with her locks down and in loosely curled chest-length waves. This effortless 'do, accompanied by her vintage-style fringe is giving us all the new szn hairspo.
