The Legendary Irina Shayk Makes an Impression in These 5 Photos From Chile

Russian model Irina Shayk is an SI Swimsuit icon. If her 10 consecutive years of posing for the issue wasn’t proof enough, the fact that she made an appearance in the 50th anniversary magazine in 2014, alongside fellow brand legends, surely cemented her status in the publication’s history books.

Her many years with SI Swimsuit brought her to numerous incredible places, among them Naples, Italy in 2009 and Madagascar in 2014. Between those two idyllic photoshoots, she headed to the Atacama Desert, Chile in 2010, posing for a series of absolutely stunning photos in the unconventional location.

The supermodel has also established herself in the wider modeling world since she began her career in the late 2000s. Her early career featured campaigns with iconic brands like Intimissimi, Victoria’s Secret, Lacoste and GUESS, among others, as well as cover features on the international issues of Glamour, Cosmopolitan and GQ.

These days, her body of work has expanded to include several other magazine covers and various appearances on high-fashion runways each year. This year’s Paris Fashion Week saw the model walk at fashion shows for elevated brands like Vivienne Westwood and Mugler.
