Lee Ryan set to become father of five
Lee Ryan is going to be a father for the fifth time.
The Blue singer is expecting his third child with his wife, Verity Paris, and his fifth overall.
"Me and my wife, Verity, are very pleased to announce our new baby, that will be born this year," read a message posted on Blue's social media accounts on Sunday. "The news came out of the blue (winking emoji) and I found out on my 40th birthday! What a present from god."
A spokesperson for the band added, "The rest of the boys are thrilled for the couple!"
The message was accompanied by a picture of Lee holding Verity's baby bump as they exchanged a kiss under a tree.
Two of Lee's bandmates responded to the news in the Instagram comments. Duncan James wrote, "They say 3rd a charm - and now ur charm is a baby boy! Massive congrats brother," while Antony Costa added, "Congratulations."
Lee married Verity in Gibraltar in March last year after two years of dating and they have two infant daughters, with their youngest child arriving in November 2022.
He also shares daughter Bluebell, 14, with Jessica Keevil and son Rayn, born in 2008, with former partner Samantha Miller.
Lee and Verity relocated to Spain in 2021.
