The Australian wine brand, Leaps and Bounds, has announced the launch of a limited-edition wine bottle that features labels of adorable dogs looking to be adopted and it's the sweetest thing we've seen in a long time.

The brand new Chardonnay bottle is in partnership with Dogs Trust to help adoptable dogs find their forever homes and information about the dogs can be found by scanning the label on the front of the bottle.

The Chardonnay is described as a buttery, full-bodied wine with a citrus and melon aroma, a ripe nectarine and peach taste, finished with a hint of oak spice. It sounds delicious and we'll be grabbing a bottle to learn more about the dogs and the wine, of course.

Available from today, the special edition Leaps and Bounds Chardonnay will be available via Getir featuring Dogs Trust ‘Underdogs’ who are looking to be adopted in London and Manchester.

While the charity is able to find most dogs new homes in good time, the charity also cares for many dogs who have more specific rehoming requirements. These are called the Underdogs — who have been in Dogs Trust’s care for six months or more. They may need extra training, ongoing veterinary treatment, a home with no children or other dogs, or they may simply have just been overlooked.

Available for delivery straight to your doorstep, the wine tells the heart-warming stories of some of Dogs Trust’s Underdogs, including Nigel (a Patterdale Terrier Cross) and Cleo (a Retriever Labrador Cross), both of whom have been long-term residents owing to special rehoming requirements.

“We’ve used Leaps & Bounds to celebrate some of the world’s most legendary pups, and now it’s time to show all the love to the underdogs across the UK that need new families, because they’re just as incredible. We’re working with Dogs Trust and Getir to bring this limited-edition wine to dog lovers, making it simple to scan over dinner and check the dogs in your local area that need a new home. We hope it helps raise awareness for some of the dogs that need a little more attention to find new families and support Dogs Trust who currently is receiving very high numbers of enquiries from people needing to hand over their dog.” said Lucy Bearman, Wine Director at Leaps & Bounds.

Dedicated to celebrating iconic dogs across the world, Leaps and Bounds aims to highlight the importance of adopting and caring for dogs who need the love and attention they deserve.

Through this limited-edition wine, dog lovers can enjoy not only a delicious glass of wine but also the satisfaction of supporting a good cause and potentially help find an Underdog their forever home.
