Lea Michele's two-year-old son Ever hospitalised again

Lea Michele's two-year-old son Ever Reich is back in hospital weeks after a previous stay.

On Wednesday, the Glee star took to her Instagram Stories to provide another update on her son's health, indicating he had been hospitalised once again. It comes after the little one required hospital treatment in late March, forcing Lea to miss appearing in her hit Broadway show Funny Girl as she cared for him.

Lea, 36, shared a photo of Ever lying in his crib, where she obscured her young son's face with a white heart emoji and wrote a poignant caption.

"Today was a hard day. As parents, we have to be strong for our kids. But sometimes you just want to break down and cry," she wrote.

As a side comment, she mentioned, "Hidden in the bathroom or closet is usually best" for crying and candidly admitted: "Today I chose hospital bathroom.

"These hard times show you truly what matters and is important in life and how much we have to be grateful for. It's been hard to say the least but our boy is such a champ and is going to be ok. But it still hurts."

Lea shares the tot with husband Zandy Reich.

After Ever's March hospital stay, the Scream Queen's star told fans their family were "still not out of the woods completely".

"But (Ever's) headed in a good direction, and we're really, really grateful," she added.
