Love Island host Laura Whitmore is the newest celeb mum on the scene, having confirmed on Instagram that she and her comedian husband Iain Stirling welcomed a baby girl recently. While we don't know the little one's name yet, or exactly when she was born, we do know how utterly gorgeous and teeny she is, thanks to the sweet pictures shared by her proud parents.

Since the arrival of her first-born, Laura has posted a select few photographs of the baby all snuggled up with her face out of shot. Over the Easter weekend, we were treated to one particularly adorable picture of baby Stirling (or Whitmore) dressed up in a tiny yellow outfit. But that's not the only documentation of motherhood that Laura Whitmore is making over on Instagram. Joining a wave of other famous mothers, the presenter is sharing candid insights into the realities of her breastfeeding experience - and all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes.

In a post shared last night, Laura Whitmore showed off the outfit she wore to present the new series of Celebrity Juice, for which she's a team captain. The first two pictures showed the new mum looking glowing in a short black dress with sheer puffed sleeves, which triggered comments from followers commenting on how incredible she looked considering she'd given birth so recently. "How are you doing this? I put on about two stone with both kids and couldn’t move for sanitary towels for weeks. I’m not sure I even got dressed for the first two months! Superwoman!" wrote fellow TV presenter Fearne Cotton.

But the third photo in Laura's post gave the 'Instagram vs reality' perspective that's often so welcome on our perfectly curated feeds. The image showed the dress, from designer Filiarmi, lying inside out on the floor, adorned with two nursing pads for her breasts stuck on the inside.

Nursing pads are used by people who breastfeed to absorb any milk that leaks between feedings - like a pantyliner for the boobs, let's say. They're typically worn inside a bra to protect clothing from being dampened by the milk, which is exactly what Laura Whitmore was doing when she put on her nice dress yesterday.

Fellow mothers commented specifically on the breast pad picture, in solidarity with the experience. "3rd pic = you are an absolute hero," wrote model Daisy Lowe, along with a love heart emoji. "If you know, you know," commented another of Laura's followers. "Love the breast pads! Oh the honest truth of breast feeding mamas," said someone else.

It's not the first time Laura Whitmore - who was super candid about her changing body throughout pregnancy - has given an insight into breastfeeding. She recently also uploaded a photo of her feeding her newborn while having her hair and makeup done, reflecting the busy juggle of a new, working mum. In the comments, friends and fans praised the 35-year-old for "smashing the working mum life."

Big congratulations to Laura and Iain on becoming parents, and it's so encouraging to see the realities of it all along with everything else.
