After winning our hearts (and every chess competition going) as Beth in Netflix's The Queen's Gambit, Anya Taylor-Joy is poised to return to our screens in the psychological horror film, Last Night in Soho. And, judging from Twitter's reaction to the trailer, it's going to be *very* scary.
Here's everything we know about the film so far:
What's Last Night in Soho about?
The official synopsis reads:
"A young girl, passionate about fashion design, is mysteriously able to enter the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences."
If ATJ wasn't enough the film is directed by Edgar Wright who, incidentally, also directed the cult classics Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz and The World's End a.k.a the 'Cornetto trilogy', starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost.
Yep, this is definitely gonna be good.
Who will star in Last Night in Soho?
Thomasin McKenzie (Jojo Rabbit) stars as Eloise, the aspiring fashion designer who finds herself transported back in time to 60s London, into the body of her idol, a singer named Sandy, played by Anya Taylor-Joy (Emma, The Queen's Gambit).
Also starring in the project are Matt Smith (Doctor Who, The Crown), Jamie and Oliver Phelps (Fred and George in the Harry Potter Franchise), Diana Rigg, Rita Tushingham and Terence Stamp. That's one huge cast.
Is there a trailer for Last Night in Soho?
There most definitely is, and you can watch it above - if you're brave enough that is. Since the trailer's release lots of celebrities have been talking about the film, including John Krasinski, Dwayne Johnson and Olivia Wilde.
Is there a release date for Last Night in Soho?
