Lady Gaga's performance at a Joe Biden rally last night [2 November 2020] got all kinds of awkward, after she said she loved her ex Taylor Kinney "so much", in front of her new boyfriend Michael Polansky. Hang on, what?
The 34-year-old singer was campaigning for the Democrat in the presidential election in Pittsburgh, telling fans she used to live a few hours away with her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
After performing 'Shallow' from A Star Is Born, Gaga reminisced of Taylor, "I was engaged to a man from Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I know, it didn’t work out. I loved him so much, it just did not work out. But I still love my Pennsylvania guy. I love Joe [Biden]! So Joe’s my new Pennsylvania guy.'
Oh my god. Not Lady Gaga talking about her failed relationship with Taylor Kinney and performing You and I. They met in You and I music video hai I am weak and sad 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 love you mother @ladygaga pic.twitter.com/m3qzpu5cJp

In the middle of her next song, 'You And I', she then apologies to boyfriend Michael Polansky for talking about her ex. "To my boyfriend here tonight, I’m sorry I had to do this whole ‘Pennsylvania, I dated a guy here’ thing," she continued. "I love you so much, but it’s true."
Eek, that's uncomfortable.
Gaga and Taylor met on the set of her 'Yoü and I' music video shoot in 2011, and got engaged on Valentine’s Day in 2015. A little over a year later, though, Gaga and Taylor ended their engagement and broke up, with the singer writing on Instagram:
"Taylor and I have always believed we are soul mates. Just like all couples, we have ups and downs, and we have been taking a break. We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other."
Gaga - real name Stefani Joanne Angelina Germanotta - and Michael, meanwhile, went Instagram official with their relationship in February at the Superbowl. According to Page Six, they met last December at Facebook co-founder Sean Parker's birthday party at his home in Los Angeles.

"People are saying Gaga would have met him through events Sean Parker has hosted at his house, including the launch and other events for the foundation," the insider claimed.
Here's to hoping he's not the jealous type, eh?
