For cosmetics giant, L'Orèal Paris, it's Paris by name, Paris by nature. Following on from their celebrity studded fashion show last season that saw the likes of Jane Fonda, Cheryl and Helen Mirren, to name just a few, storm the runway, the make-up brand is hitting Paris Fashion Week once again.

But this time there's a twist. Yup, L'Oréal Paris have announced that for SS19 their show will take place on a floating runway. Yes, really.

As if walking in outrageously high heels wasn't trouble enough, models will be hitting the catwalk literally on the Seine, with L'Oréal stopping boat traffic on the river for the duration of the show.

Partnering with Chopard, Off-White, Balmain, Isabel Marant, Giambattista Valli and Elie Saab, the AW18 collection pieces will be worn by an A-list line up. Think Andie MacDowell, Elle Fanning, Bianca Balti, Eva Longoria, Duckie Thot, and Liya Kebede amongst the parade of celebs.

Titled 'Le Défilé L’Oréal Paris', the presentation is expected to draw around 200,000 fashion-hungry spectators who can watch the show from the banks of the river.
