Kym Marsh's famous exes now - from Jack Ryder to Jamie Lomas as star, 48, moves on with co-star, 29

Kym Marsh has just announced she’s got a new beau in her theatre co-star Samuel Thomas. Coronation Street star Kym (who played Michelle Connor) revealed her new romance on social media yesterday (7 July).

Kym, 48, has called Saumel, 29, the “most amazing man ever” in a clip uploaded to Instagram, where the soap actress shared a picture of herself kissing her 101 Dalmatians co-star.

Captioning the upload, the actress wrote: "Met the most amazing man ever! Sometimes the most unexpected things happen at the most unexpected times. @samuelthomasuk I love you #beautiful #soulmate #loveyou".

The new romance comes just a year after her divorce from her third husband, so let’s take a look back at her ex partners.

Dave Cunliffe

Kym’s first partner was Dave, a builder who she met in a karaoke bar in Whiston. The pair began dating in 1994 and welcomed two children together.

They had a son, David, born in 1994 and a daughter, Emilie born in 1997. Kym and Dave were engaged but split before they got wed and called time on their relationship in 1999.

The band Hear'Say, of which Kym was one of the six band members, was formed two years later in 2001.

Jack Ryder

Kym then dated EastEnders star Jack Ryder (who played Jamie Mitchell), the pair married in 2002 in Hertfordshire.

Writing in her autobiography From the Heart, the actress explained how they came to meet before getting hitched years later.

"When I spotted him I told Myleene Klass, 'He's quite cute - except he looks about 12'," confessed Kym. "We chatted and he was flirting with me. I kinda liked him too. He had a very honest face and I could sense something between us.

"A few months earlier I'd been a single mum who spent her evenings ironing. Now I was being texted by the hottest soap star in the country."

Sadly the pair had their divorce finalised in 2009 - Kym sensationally admitted to cheating on Jack in their divorce papers.

Jamie Lomas

Following her split from Jack, Kym then was seeing Hollyoaks bad boy Jamie Lomas (Warren Fox).

The pair welcomed two children, Archie in 2009, who was sadly born 18 weeks early and passed away shortly after birth. They also share a daughter, Polly, who was born on 23 March 2011.

Kym and Jamie split in 2013 and divorced a year later. The pair are still in contact and co-parent their daughter, Kym told the Mirror, "We have a very good relationship, Jamie and I. Polly has a good relationship with her dad...

"We have nothing bad to say about each other.”

Scott Ratcliff

Kym and army major Scott Ratcliff met through a mutual friend and got engaged in 2021, but the happy news was sadly overshadowed after Kym revealed her dad Dave was diagnosed with incurable prostate cancer.

The couple brought the nuptials forward so Dave could walk his daughter down the aisle and they tied the knot at Sandhurst military academy - which was Kym’s third marriage.

The couple were said to have broken up due to work commitments keeping them apart and split in 2023.

Samuel Thomas

Kym’s new beau is 29-year-old actor Samual Thomas who she has met through work. The pair are currently both starring in the production of 101 Dalmatians where Kym will play Cruella De Vil and Samuel plays Tom.

Samuel is an actor, singer and vocal coach. In 2017, Samuel won Best Actor Award in 2017 for his performance in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Allegro at Southwark Playhouse.

Samuel has also starred in The Normal Heart at The National Theatre, Assassins at Chichester Festival Theatre and The Comedy of a Bank Robbery at the Criterion Theatre.
