Kylie's 2000s hairstyles in Kim's latest throwback pics are adorable
You've got to hand it to Kim. While most people use their friend or family members' birthdays as an excuse to share a conveniently flattering friendship snap, half-heartedly embellished with a balloon GIF, our queen of trolling went the extra mile for Kylie's 23th.
Posting a selection of throwback pictures to both her grid and her story, Kim shouted out her sister with the cutest caption:
"My baby @kyliejenner Happy Birthday!!! I can’t believe you are 23 years old!!!! The funniest and most loyal person on the planet! Looking for pictures and finding so many funny memories makes me so happy! I love you beyond what you could image!"
And though the slideshow featured some absolutely adorable snaps of a tiny Kylie with fluffy baby hair, there were also a bunch of pictures of a pre-teen Kylie that took me right back to year 7, eating Babybels while bluetoothing Cascada songs to my BFF's Motorola Razr.
Of course, Kylie's no stranger to a throwback accessory or style, even these days. In 2020 alone she dabbled in scrunchies and side fringes, not to mention the jlo honey-blonde, the chunky highlights, and the more recent brown boho waves. In more recent days she's swung between pink and platinum, before settling on a gorgeous bob.
But for her birthday, big sis Kim came through with a string of very vintage-looking photographs featuring all kinds of Kylie hair throwbacks.
First we have Princess Kylie era - check out that ringlet and tiara combo.
And then there's alice-band Kylie - and I have to say, the unbridled childlike joy in her eyes is the best thing I've ever seen.
And then there's "wish I hadn't gotten an impule-fringe, guess I'll slick it to the side" Kylie:

If nothing else, it's just reassuring to know that i'm not the only one who went through the classic awkward pre-teen phase.
Anyway, I'm getting the popcorn in ready to see what kind of revenge Kylie cooks up ready for Kim's birthday in October. This could get interesting...
