Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott have come under fire on social media after revealing they bought three-year-old daughter Stormi Webster a school bus, with many fans suggesting the gift was out of touch.

Earlier this week Kylie shared several pictures and videos on her Instagram Story showing Stormi exploring the bright yellow American school bus. In one video, the three-year-old is shown wearing a Space Jam t-shirt while wandering up the aisle of the bus, along with the caption "All Stormi has been talking about is riding a big yellow bus. Daddy surprised her."

It didn't take long for the backlash to start on social media, with people saying the whole thing seemed just slightly out of touch.

One person commented on Twitter, "Kylie and Travis buying Stormi a yellow school bus because all she wanted to do was be a normal kid and ride on one is the most dystopian, surreal, depressing, and funny thing I’ve ever seen."

Meanwhile another commenter wrote, "Saw Kylie's story about Travis "surprising" Stormi with a yellow school bus so she can pretend to be middle class for the day and I damn near broke my ankle running to Twitter."

Meanwhile Kylie's fans came to her defence, pointing out that it wouldn't be feasible for Stormi to get the bus to school and her parents just wanted to give her a chance to experience it.

Never a quiet day, eh?
