The Kardashian-Jenners haven't had great feedback on social media as of late. From Kim's post about her private island getaway to Kendall's big fancy dress birthday party, followers on social media have not been impressed at all, and have accused the family of being insensitive to the goings on of the world around them. And, it doesn't look like it's about to stop anytime soon, with people taking to social media recently to criticise Kylie Jenner for promoting her cosmetics line in the midst of the US presidential election.
Kylie posted the picture last night, announcing a restock of products to her Kylie Cosmetics line. Alongside a picture of the items she captioned the post, "The kendall collection is BACK IN STOCK officially on KylieCosmetics.com. I get the absolute most positive feedback on these beautiful products i’m sad to say this will be the last time they’re available. I still wear the kendall lip kit EVERY DAY and it’s a must have in my purse. enjoy."
But fans were quick to criticise the beauty mogul for the post, suggesting that it wasn't an appropriate time in the midst of the US presidential election.
One follower commented, "Read the room sis," while another said, "girl not the time to promote ur products [sic]," and another commented, "keep ya colourpop makeup girl. We worried about the country."
On Twitter the response was similar, with one follower commenting, "GIRL read the goddam room for once," while one person wrote, "did you really just tweet about your business???? idk if you're aware but there is an ELECTION tonight," and another comment read, "not her trying to make money while the rest of the country (and quite frankly the world) is in a panic because we’re in the middle of one of the biggest modern day presidential elections".
Meanwhile, celebrities have been reacting to the ongoing US presidential election on social media, as the world continues to wait for a result.
