Kylie Jenner has given fans an honest insight into her life as a mum-of-two, revealing that four months on from welcoming her second child – a son, who was previously called Wolf – she is still in a lot of 'pain'.
Taking to her Instagram Story, the 24-year-old opened up to her 348 million followers about her postpartum experience by saying: '4 months postpartum. I have been dealing with tons of back and knee pain this time so it slows down my workouts. [sic]'
Alongside a video of herself walking on a treadmill, the reality TV star added, 'But I am on a mission to get strong again 🙏.'
Elsewhere on her Story, Kylie shared a clip from inside a gym room with the caption, 'No days off.' PSA: It's worth noting here, that whilst having fitness goals can be a great motivator, it's just as important to take rest days from your exercise regime as this gives your body some much-needed recovery time.
But, this is not the first time that Kylie has shared details of her postpartum workout plan, recently telling fans that since giving birth: 'Walking/pilates is my favourite combo.
'Gained 60lbs again this pregnancy,' she wrote on an Instagram video which showed her working out on a treadmill. 'Down 40lbs' she added alongside the prayer hands emoji, 'just trying to be healthy and patient'.
Remember though, while it's great that Kylie is focussing on her fitness, there should be no pressure to change your post-baby body as long as you're healthy and happy.
Previously, the beauty mogul revealed that she's struggling to 'be back' to her former mindset. 'This experience for me personally has been a little harder than with my daughter [Stormi],' she said in a post on Instagram that was shared just six weeks after welcoming her son.
'It's not easy mentally, physically, spiritually, it's just crazy,' she added. 'And yeah, I didn't just want to get back to life without saying that because I think we can look on the internet — for other moms going through it right now — we can go on the internet, and it might look a lot easier for other people, and put the pressure on us, but it hasn't been easy for me.'
She continued: 'But I'm here, and I'm feeling better.'
'It's OK not to be OK. Once I realised that I was putting some pressure on myself... And I just keep reminding myself I made a whole human, a beautiful healthy boy,' Kylie shared. 'We have to stop putting pressure on ourselves to be "back". Not even physically, just mentally, after birth. So yeah, just sending some love. I love you guys!'
