In 2017, the beauty mogul and her ex boyfriend Travis Scott were rumoured to have been expecting their first child. The star wasn't pictured in months and, despite media reports at the time suggesting the reality star was pregnant, the 22-year-old didn’t confirm the news until the announcement of her daughter Stormi Webster’s birth in February 2018.
On Wednesday, Jenner shared a statement on her Instagram Stories admitting that she became accustomed to staying home 24/7 during her pregnancy, with the experience preparing her for self-isolation during the Covid-19 outbreak.
‘I’m on day 8. My pregnancy prepared me for this, I didn't leave the house for months,' Jenner wrote.
The reality star is believed to be staying behind closed doors at her home in the Hidden Hills community in California during the outbreak but is using her social media platforms to encourage her followers to practice social distancing.
Ahead of her daughter’s second birthday in February, Jenner shared a photo on Instagram which is believed to have previously been an unseen snap of herself during her ‘secret’ pregnancy.
In the photo, the reality star shows off her baby bump while dressed in loungewear.
Jenner gave birth to Stormi on February 1 and announced the news on Instagram.
'I'm sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions,’ an excerpt of the post reads.
'I understand you're used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world.'
'I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness,’ she added.
The star added a YouTube link to her Instagram profile of a 12-minute video which chronicled her pregnancy.
