The mother-of-one shared a slideshow of pictures from the celebratory do with her 126 million followers on Instagram.
While millions have already ‘liked’ the post, the lavish celebrations, which included a ball pit and an indoor fairground, sparked backlash among Jenner’s followers.
One aspect in particular was the subject of criticism: a larger-than-life inflatable baby’s head, with an open-mouth that served as the entrance to the party venue.
While Jenner has not specified exactly what this inflatable is meant to resemble, most have assumed it is supposed to be Stormi.
One of Jenner’s Instagram followers commented: “I just wanna ask why you made everyone enter your daughters party through her mouth. I can’t be the only one concerned about this.” [sic]
Another commented: That entrance is what nightmares are made of. Yeaaaa Stomi tho. Lol.” [sic]”, while one wrote: “This is somehow creepy”.
Others were simply offended by the scale of the party, which some pointed out Stormi would not even remember.
“The kid probably will never have a single memory of this party when she gets older.”
“She will Not Even remeber that. And just because she has the money for it doesnt mean she‘s an better mom.!!!” [sic]
“So lavish! I hope some of this birthday fund went to charity! Might be good to do this. Let the world know you’re not all about the material things.”
However, among Jenner’s die-hard fans, there was still a fair amount of praise for the celebrations. Positive comments ranged from “Stormi is so lucky” to “OMG Amazing WORLD”.
Jenner gave birth to Stormi, her only child with partner Travis Scott, also 21, in February 2018 following months of speculation that she was pregnant, which she never confirmed.
Her post announcing Stormi’s birth was previously the most-liked Instagram post of all time.
Earlier this year, she was toppled off her record-holder place for most-liked Instagram post by user Egg Gang, who beat her with a post of a single egg, garnering 24.5 million likes.
The egg was later revealed as the brainchild of advertising creative Chris Godfrey, who shared the image as part of a campaign for mental health awareness.
