Kylie Jenner blasted by fans over skincare brand as she uses a product to wash her face and has 'make-up stained towel'
Kylie Jenner has been criticised by fans after washing her face in a product demonstration video - only to reveal a make-up stained towel.
The Lip Kit mogul recently launched her own skincare brand, Kylie Skin, with products selling out in days.
But she faced a backlash from fans over some items, after she suggested they had been the “secret” to her skin and also encouraged fans to use a walnut scrub three times a week, despite ongoing debates about walnuts and skin fissures.
In her latest video, Jenner – using a Snapchat filter – cleanses her face with one of the brand’s products in a whirlwind demonstration, far less than the suggested 1-2 minute washing time.
Jenner’s white towel looks to be caked in make-up despite having used her own wash.
Fans were quick to pull Jenner up on the video, slamming her for “not knowing how to wash her own face” and highlighting the “foundation”.
kylie babby... I support your hustle but this isn’t the right way to convince me to buy your product. The towel literally wiped your makeup off https://t.co/uFL8vvGTqU

I’m done!!! Foundation is still on the towel!

Imagine buying face wash from someone who doesn't even know how to wash their face properly.

Love you Kylie Jenner but if you’re showing people how to wash their face with your products, do it properly. Putting cleanser on your skin for 2 sec & washing it off is not effective in any way, shape, or form. Cleanser needs to be used for at LEAST 30 sec to work effectively https://t.co/rZkDXwwuzA

“This just proves that Kylie did no type of research and doesn’t know what she’s doing at all, not even caring she might be damaging her fans faces with horrible advice,” tweeted somebody else.
Jenner launched her latest business venture with a pink-themed party that included a skate-up bar earlier this month.
The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner clan threw the lavish bash for her brand new products, and treated fans to a tour of the party on Instagram.
Jenner, 21, stole the show in a short pink dress and was joined by her momager Kris Jenner and sisters Kim, Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian.
