Kyiv Rescuers Save Cat From 7th Floor Of Bombed Out Building. A Ukrainian cat from Borodyanka - a Kyiv suburb - had a miracle escape after being found on the seventh floor of an apartment block destroyed by Russian shelling. Locals drew rescuers’ attention to the defiant feline’s plight. And it was brought down by volunteers and rescuers from the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. The unbowed animal was left unaffected, if slightly grumpy given water, and has been taken in by Ukraine’s ‘Zoo Patrol’ an organisation who look after abandoned animals affected by Russia’s invasion of the country.
