The Four Weddings and a Funeral actress opted for a chic black satin gown, which she accessorised with a bejewelled silver clutch bag and sparkling drop earrings – but it was her beauty look that really caught our eye.

The 61-year-old showed off her natural hair colour and looked incredible. Swapping her previously brunette locks for a sleek blonde bob, she showcased natural streaks of silver at her hairline – and she’s not the first A-lister to do this recently.

Scott Thomas’ Four Weddings and a Funeral co-star Andie MacDowell spoke about going grey earlier this year.

“I think it’s badass to embrace where you are [in life] and be fearless,” Andie told InStyle. “That is exactly what I am doing. I am stepping right into where I am with no shame, and it feels good.”

The Maid actress also opened up to Interview Magazine and her changing hair but noted that she didn’t like being told that she is ‘embracing’ her natural colour.

“I hate the word ’embrace,’ because it always sounds like you’re having to accept something, and I don’t feel like that,” Andie said. “We’re beautiful at every age and glorious in our own way, and we have so much to offer. I feel so much more comfortable. It’s like I’ve taken a mask off or something.”

“I feel better like this. Honestly, it’s exhausting to have to be something that you no longer are,” she added. “I was finally like, ‘You know what? I’m not young. And I’m OK with that.’”

Other famous women turning away from dye include Sarah Jessica Parker and Spain’s Queen Letizia.
