If you didn’t know Kristin Juszczyk’s name a few months ago, you certainly do now. The designer went viral earlier this year after Taylor Swift wore a custom Juszczyk red puffer jacket to the Jan. 13 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins.

Shortly thereafter, Juszczyk signed a licensing deal with the NFL, so she is now permitted to use the official NFL logo in her designs.

People recently chatted with Juszczyk, who is married to 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, about her work. The designer stated that she’s continued to pursue her goal of breaking into the fashion space over the years despite facing obstacles along the way.

“I’ve been at this for a few years now, and I’ve been told ‘no’ many times or that we just don’t have the space for that,” she told the outlet. “This is something that I’ve been so passionate about. I feel like there’s a huge gap in the market, and I have so many designs that I know women want. It’s just a matter of being able to get it out there.”

Yesterday, Juszczyk announced she would be auctioning off a custom Super Bowl-themed puffer vest to benefit the National Breast Cancer Foundation. As of press time, the current bid is at $33,800.

“One of my friends has always told me that it takes a hundred ‘nos’ to get to your first ‘yes,” Juszczyk added while speaking with People. “So, any time I heard a ‘no,’ I thought, O.K., one step closer to my ‘yes.’”
