Kristin Cavallari did "long-term damage" to her eyebrows when she overplucked them in her teens.
The reality star, who shot to fame after starring in the hit MTV show Laguna Beach, discussed her beauty woes in a recent interview, and said she regrets going overboard with the tweezers in her youth.
“I over-plucked the crap out of my eyebrows... it was tragic. I did some long-term damage!” she told Page Six Style.
Kristin also confessed she really struggled with acne breakouts during her time on the reality series, which ran from 2004 to 2006, and said that the on-set make-up also triggered her stressed-out skin.
“In high school I was always prone to breakouts, so I wasn’t a fan of my skin. I was always insecure about my breakouts. And then being in the entertainment business, going to these photoshoots and filming TV, they always put so much make-up on you," the mother-of-three explained.
"I wanted to have the confidence to be able to go out into the world with no make-up on my face and still feel good," she added.
Kristin recently announced the launch of her first skincare line, Uncommon Beauty, and said that the products, including a pineapple serum with vitamin C and peptides, would tackle every skin problem.
“It’s anti-aging, it’s brightening, it’s hydrating, it’s everything that you want,” she said of the line, which will be released in May.
