In a statement with TMZ at the time, celebrity lawyer Marty Singer denied the stay was substance related, instead explaining:
"In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father three months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas."
Scott's mum Bonnie Disick died in late 2013 when she was 63. His dad, Jeffrey Disick, passed away less than three months later.
In new Keeping Up With The Kardashians scenes, it's revealed Scott was livid that news of his stay was leaked, eventually leading the star to cut his rehabilitation short.
In the teaser above, Kim is seen saying on camera: "I heard that Scott went to rehab by seeing it online and it looks like someone at the facility leaked a photo of him. I feel really bad for him."
Kourtney, who is speaking to Kim on the phone, declared the situation "really, really so awful," adding that "actual conversations with the therapist" had been exposed.
The mother of Scott's three children, who has also since been linked to him again, added, "He said he's never been more betrayed in his life. He's packing and he's definitely coming home. He's really upset. Especially [because] he was actually going to work on himself and his traumas.”
She added, "I think he absolutely should file a suit. I feel like whoever did leak this information should be really ashamed of themselves. Everyone deserves to deal with their past traumas in privacy. He was completely violated."
Following the leak, Noah Nordheimer, President & CEO of the rehab facility All Points North Lodge, told Entertainment Tonight:
"If it were determined that any information relating to any client was ever obtained from APN facilities and provided to a media outlet, APN will take all legal action available against that individual, including cooperating with law enforcement and other governmental authorities. The APN Lodge team is overwhelmingly a group who dedicates their lives to bettering others and we are sickened by any publication who would report on an individual’s life struggles without their consent."
Regardless of who leaked Scott's stay, here's to hoping the KUWTK star is able to get the help he wants in private.
