We love Kourtney Kardashian for many a reason – and one is that we're completely fascinated by her fitness routine and wellness endeavours. So, although it *probably* isn't one we'll be looking to adopt any time soon, we were still very keen to learn about her go-to daily supplements. And let it be said from the off, there's now a blackcurrant chewy multivitamin in sight, guys (and that it's always best to chat to a professional before making dietary changes).

Kourt listed in detail all of the various vitamins, powders and teas she consumes throughout the day as part of a new POOSH post, and err, yeah, it's not a short list.

The eldest Kardashian sister says she takes an array of tonics to "really make a difference [to her] skin, mood, and energy" and that she kicks off her mornings with a cup of collagen on an empty stomach, which she says offers "maximum benefits". However, whilst research does indicate collagen powder has an array of benefits, from helping your joints to fighting skin aging, taking it on an empty stomach hasn't been confirmed as making a difference.

Next, Kourtney says she opts for an apple tea (as it has Christmassy vibes) and states it reduces inflammation and boosts metabolism (again, the evidence here is largely anecdotal), before getting stuck into a workout.

Post-exercise, the mother-of-three then switches things up with a spiked protein shake. "I blend a protein powder with MCT [medium-chain triglyceride] oil to feed my brain," Kourtney shares. "I need to be 'on' all the time, and it gives me lots of energy to run around... I also add Blue Majik E3 Live [a proprietary extract of spirulina, a freshwater algae], which has a ton of minerals and added protein, and is known to help keep up your brain function."

More research is needed to confirm whether or not MCT oil can help with the likes of cognitive function or extra energy.

As for Blue Majik by E3 Live, according to Women's Health, claims to be high in iron and that one dose can provide 12% of your daily recommended intake of potassium, and just below 10% of your daily recommended intake of magnesium. However, the publication and an expert dietician also noted that more studies into the benefits are needed, as so far, the evidence is not conclusive.

Then - yup, there's more - Kourtney detailed that she adds magnesium in trace minerals to her water each day and focusses on staying hydrated as much as possible, and that before dinner she'll mix a dash of apple cider vinegar into her water too. This, she adds, is to "get digestion ready before dinner and curb afternoon snack cravings" (while ACV is deemed safe by experts, such as those at The University of Chicago Medical Center, research into how effective it actually is is lacking).

As for pills, Kourt says, "As far as vitamins or pill supplements, I take the Cellular Vitality multivitamin pack [the daily serving features chia seed oil, omegas 3 and 6, vitamin B12 and vitamin D3], but I remove the fish oil. I understand those omegas are important, but they don’t agree with my body personally, so I just rely on food to get those important fats. I also take a daily dose of vitamin C."

Last but not least, the Kardashian queen rounds off her day with an adaptogenic tea (adaptogens are made of non-toxic plants, marketed as helping the body beat stress – but, you've guessed it, again hard evidence is still lacking).

Phew! Anyone else need a lie down after all that?
