KJ Apa Showed Off His Shredded Abs in a New Shirtless Photo on Instagram

In a recent Instagram post, Apa posed shirtless on a cliff near the ocean, reaching out his arms as snow begins to fall around him. Conveniently, this pose puts the Riverdale actor's chiseled physique on display. Hey, at least he’s wearing a long winter coat to keep a little warm.
Now, this certainly isn't the freckle-faced Archie you remember from the classic comics. Not by a long shot. That guy was never known for his washboard abs—or an affinity for posting thirst traps on Instagram.
The 23-year-old actor certainly caught the attention of fans with the shameless post, amassing more than 2.1 million likes in just two days. Even his co-stars weren’t immune from Apa's thirst trap magic.
"Seems like there's a ripple effect in the photo but... there isn't one. Just the abs,” actor Lili Reinhart, Apa’s Riverdale costar, commented on the picture.
In March 2020, Apa shared how he keeps his physique in check with Men's Health. The New Zealand-native combines a healthy mix of cardio, core strengthening, and endurance in his gym routine. His regular workout include rowing 500 meters, running a half-mile, and knocking out a killer core session of hanging crunches, Russian twists, and leg raises. I mean, it certainly shows.
