Someone important once said that breakfast was the most important meal of the day, and we tend to agree.

Whether it's eggs on toast with avocado and the full shabang, a bowl of warming fruit-topped porridge or a quick bowl of cereal on the go - there's no denying that starting the day with the food you love is one of life's great pleasures.

Now, what if that start to the day was to involve your favourite chocolate too? That's exactly the dream Nestlé is fulfilling with its brand new KitKat cereal.

The cereal has been created with the chocolate development team at Nestlé, and will be formed of little chocolate squares with that signature wafer texture.

While it does sound like the perfect treat, the new cereal is also a source of five vitamins, calcium and iron.

Sarah Fordy, Head of Marketing at Cereal Partners UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted to announce the partnership between Nestlé Cereals and KitKat.

“This exciting new cereal delivers a delicious taste of KitKat and has been developed to cater to consumers who are looking for an occasional, indulgent breakfast option, that can be enjoyed as part of a balanced diet.”

The new cereal will be in shops from mid-April!

If you can't wait that long for new KitKat goodies, you can nip down to your local shop to grab the brand's new KitKat Chunky flavour, White Chocolate Biscoff. Or if milk choc is more your thing, there's Biscoff mini KitKat Bites.

Easy Chicken Pot Pie Ingredients 1 1/2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast or thighs 1 small onion, diced 3 garlic cloves, minced 2 potatoes, peeled and diced 2 cups frozen peas & carrots or mixed veggies 4 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup flour 2 cups chicken broth 1 store bought pie crust, thawed 1 egg, beaten Optional- 1 tablespoon Better Than Bouillon (organic chicken base) Directions Preheat oven to 350°. Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat and add chicken. Season with salt and pepper and cook for about 4 minutes. Remove and set aside. Lower heat to medium and add more oil to the pan and sauté onions and garlic for 2 minutes. Add potatoes, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 5 minutes. Stir in frozen veggies. Add butter and stir until melted. Stir in flour. Slowly stir in chicken broth. Return chicken back to the pan and bring to a boil. Season well with Better Than Bouillon (optional), salt and pepper. Remove from heat and place pie dough over the top. Brush with egg wash and cut 5 slits to vent. Season with a little salt. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until crust is golden brown.
