This week KitchenAid launched two new colour choices in its cordless collection, which includes the Hand Blender, 5-Cup Chopper and 7-Speed Hand Mixer.

The three cordless tools are now also available to purchase in Almond Cream and Matte grey, as of this week.

Initially, the range launched in choice of either Empire Red or Matte Black. The two new tones are a softer, more muted offering with a distinct cottage feel to the smooth Almond Cream option.

The three piece range launched last December and is the first cordless collection from the iconic cookware brand.

Even without mains power, the Hand Blender (£129) has the capacity to blend up to 25 bowls of soup and our Good Housekeeping Institute rated it an overall score of 73/100.

The 5-Cup Chopper (£129) can dice up to 40 onions and the 7-Speed Hand Mixer (£149) is able to make up to 200 cookies on a full charge.

KitchenAid’s classic products, such as the Artisan Stand Mixer, have become iconic, seen in the hands of everyone from Nigella Lawson to GBBO contestants.

The brand’s prestige and quality does come with a slightly higher price tag than other models, with costs climbing above £500 for some of the traditional products.

However, the cordless range is comparatively more affordable than many of KitchenAid’s other appliances.

They also offer the convenience of wireless use in your kitchen, something which could be especially useful if you don’t have a lot of space or conveniently placed plug sockets at home.

The range is available at a range of retailers including John Lewis, AO and KitchenAid, although the appliances have been selling out fast in the new colours.
