Kirsten Dunst says she just wants to "have babies and chill"

From Harpers Bazaar UK

Kirsten Dunst is ready to be a mother. The 35-year-old actress has been working steadily for more than three decades and, in her new interview with Marie Claire, she says she's ready for a change of pace.

"I'm at a stage in my life where I'm like, I've been working since I was three. It's time to have babies and chill," she said, according to E! Online. "You know what I mean?"

Dunst hasn't always felt that maternal urge though - she credits becoming a godmother with changing her mind on the kids issue.

"I wasn't one of those 'I need a baby!' people until my goddaughter was born. I love her so much," she explained. "That love is just like...you can't experience that unless you have a kid. I put her to bed last night and she woke up this morning and said to her mom, 'Where's Kiki?' I just love that love. That's what I want."

Dunst, who is engaged to her Fargo costar Jesse Plemons, also got very candid about the pressures of Hollywood, from having an Instagram presence to feeling the need to dress differently than she would if she didn't live in the spotlight.

"You can get jobs based on your Instagram following these days. That's insane. But that's why I have it now," she said of her Instagram account. She added that she thinks social media is more of a necessity for women in Hollywood than it is for men, however. "As a man, you could get away with not having it. As a woman in this industry, I think you gotta do it now. It's just part of the game."

As for her celebrated sense of style, Dunst says things would be very different in that department if she weren't an actress.

"I definitely have a gross dress with holes in it that I would never wear in L.A., but in Austin, no one cares...If I wasn't an actress I'd dress like garbage every day. All my clothes would be rags."

This level of honesty is beyond refreshing.
