King unveils statue of the late Queen at York Minster

King Charles braved the rain to unveil a statue of his mother Queen Elizabeth II above the front entrance of York Minister. It shows the Queen wearing the robes of the Order of the Garter and is the first statue of the late monarch since hear death in September. The King, joined by the Queen Consort met the stonemason who created the statue, Richard Bossons, clergy and choristers inside the minster before meeting well-wishers outside.
