If there's one thing we've learned about bands over the years, it's rare to see them all maintain friendships once they've hung up their mics. Case in point: Girls Aloud stars Kimberley Walsh and Nadine Coyle.
The pair have barely spoken since the band split in 2013, but this week Kimberley revealed they've patched things up. "I speak to Cheryl and Nicola [Roberts] all the time anyway, but I have been in touch with Nadine and Sarah [Harding], too," she shared with OK! magazine.
"Lockdown has been a time for reflection. Nadine and I were chatting the other day and we’re going to get the kids together as they haven’t met yet."
Back in March, Kimberley also revealed the pair had randomly bumped into each other. "I saw Nadine the other day in London and it was so nice to catch up with her. It’s been a while. We just bumped into each other at an event," she told The Sun. "It made me feel nostalgic. I’m glad I still get to spend time with the girls and see them."
It's a different story for Kimberley and Cheryl, however, as the pair have always remained close and recently saw each other for the first time since lockdown began. "We sat and had a cup of tea in the garden – the kids were running wild. I was glad it was Cheryl’s garden and not mine! We hadn’t seen each other for months but within two minutes it’s like you’ve had no time apart."
Now can we please get a reunion, guys?
