Kimberley Walsh has given birth to her third baby, a gorgeous little boy called Nate.

The former Girls Aloud singer, 39, already has two sons, Bobby, six and Cole, four with her husband of five years Justin Scott, so she’s used to a household of boys.

The singer shared a picture on her Instagram account officially announcing Nate's arrival to her 700k followers. Fans were quick to congratulate the family on their new arrival, with over 19,000 people liking the picture.

Last December, when Kimberley revealed she was pregnant, she said, “we chatted throughout lockdown and said that we realised family is everything, and we are not done and would quite like to add one more to the fold.” She also admitted her sons were desperate for a baby brother and unlike her previous pregnancies she wanted to find out the sex of the baby.

The Covid pandemic made the pregnancy a little harder, and husband Justin wasn’t allowed to attend Kimberly’s 12-week scan. The singer said, “We had to accept there’s going to be a few things thrown at us along the way. If you have a baby in these times, it’s not going to be straightforward.”

Nate, who was born safely weighing 7lbs 4oz, has completed the family, with Kimberley saying to OK! magazine, “Justin and I said to each other yesterday that two didn’t seem enough for some reason, but now we feel complete.”

Kimberley also admitted she’s already introduced Nate to her former bandmates, saying, “Cheryl and Nicola [Roberts] have come over. Nadine [Coyle] texted me the other day saying her little girl has put together a box of things for him, so she’s going to pop round, which will be lovely. Sarah [Harding] obviously can’t get down at the moment but she sent me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers and we’ve been texting. I’ve sent her loads of pictures.”
