Our Bridgerton obsession just will not quit, and it looks like Kim Kardashian is in the same boat. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star had the best response to finding out the Featheringtons were based on her famous family, which is incredible.

Nicola Coughlan, who played Penelope Featherington, took to social media yesterday [20 April] to reveal an unknown fact about filming for the first series of Bridgerton. The actress tweeted, "As the world’s number one @bridgerton stan does @KimKardashian know that the Kardashians were a massive inspiration for the Featheringtons and we talked about them all the time during our fittings? Because I feel like she should know this."

Kim later quote tweeted and replied, "WHAT?!?! I am freaking out!!!!!! This tweet was sent to me on my @bridgerton group chat! Can I please come to a fitting?!?! It would make my whole life!!!!!! I love you Lady W!!!"

Derry Girls actress Nicola then added, "You know I’ve loved Kim for like over a decade, I can’t even deal."

Presumably she means that while the Featherington family in the books might not be based on the Kardashian-Jenners, they took inspo from the famous family on set of the Netflix product. Either way, this whole interaction is just amazing.

This isn't the first time Kim and Nicola have popped up on our timeline, after the Bridgerton actress reached out to the reality star to recommend the show earlier this year. When Kim did eventually watch The Duke and Daphne's story unfold, it's safe to say she had a ~very~ similar reaction to the rest of us.
