Kim Kardashian has shared photos of her Rome extravaganza, where she was joined by Kate Moss for a tour of the Vatican.

The SKIMS founder has been in the Italian capital over the past few days, visiting historical landmarks like the Colosseum, Trevi fountain and St Peter's Basilica in the Vatican City.

As ever with the Kardashians, the holiday has also served as an opportunity for the beauty mogul to display her latest looks, which have featured vintage Dolce & Gabbana and an off-the-shoulder white lace dress with pelvic cut-outs by Barragán.

The latter Kardashian wore to the Vatican, which raised eyebrows given that the holy city has a dress code which, according to the state's website, 'promotes a modest attire and the covering of skin'.

However, they do caveat that wearing a cloak to 'cover knees or shoulders' is permitted - which Kardashian is saying she did in the caption of her Instagram post.

'Don’t worry, I adhered to the dress code and fully covered up while inside St. Peter's Basilica and the Sistine Chapel,' the mother-of-four wrote in brackets.

Joining Kardashian on what looks like a private tour of the holy site was Moss and her model daughter Lila Moss.

Kardashian shared a photo of herself with the British model, in which they are both wearing leather jackets against the backdrop of the Michelangelo-painted ceilings of the Sistine Chapel.

Kardashian's solo trip comes after her separation from husband of seven years Kanye West, which was confirmed by the couple earlier this year with the commencing of legal divorce proceedings.
