Kim Kardashian has opened up about her daughter North West in a new in-depth interview, saying that the eight-year-old "intimidates" her.

Speaking candidly on the Honestly podcast with host Bari Weiss, Kim also discussed the recent TikTok live which got North in trouble, plus her daughter's similarities to dad Kanye West.

When asked by the host who intimidates her in life, Kim responded, "Who intimidates me? I was going to say politicians, but they don’t. Maybe just my daughter, North."

The SKIMS founder left her answer there and didn't expand on any reasons why North intimidates her, but she did continue to share more details about her family throughout the interview.

Kim, who shares four children with Kanye West - North, eight, Saint, six, Chicago, three, and Psalm, two - later went on to discuss daughter North's relationship with her father.

"North West is Kanye West's daughter," she said, before joking, "Forget that, she's his twin."

Discussing what happened when eight-year-old North got in trouble for going live on TikTok, Kim told Weiss, "In my household, there are rules. She [North] did feel really bad about that, and she apologised to me. She said, 'I saw on TikTok that I got in trouble and I’m really sorry.' And she got it."

The TikTok live video saw North running into Kim's room saying, "Mom, I'm live," with Kim telling her, "No, stop, you're not allowed to."

Following the clip, Kim shared a screenshot of a text message from nephew Mason Disick, with the 12-year-old expressing concern for North's social media use, adding that she may come to regret something she says during a live video.

Mason wrote, "Hi, I don't wanna disrespect North but I don't think she should do the lives unless someone is with her because people are always screen recording and she might tell information that isn't correct," with Kim calling him "A helpful king".
