Kim Kardashian West has revealed she had to photoshop her daughter onto her family Christmas card.

Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres on her eponymous talk show, the reality TV star explained that North, six, was in a bad mood when the family were shooting photographs for the card and ultimately refused to be in it.

“North was having a day, so she refused to be in the shoot,” the 39-year-old explained. “She just was crying because she wanted her specific hairstyle, whatever.”

Kardashian West told North it was “fine” if she didn’t want to be in the card, that would also feature Kanye West and the couple’s three other children, and explained the family would take it without her.

But North soon had a change of heart, Kardashian West said.

“The next day she woke up and was like ‘Mummy, I really want to do a card.’

“She said, ‘I just want a photoshoot with just you.’ So I said ‘Perfect,’ I called the photographer, had her come over. I said, ‘I have no makeup on now, I look totally different.

“Let’s just pretend – shoot us, but cut me out and you’ll Photoshop her in.’ And it looks like a beautiful card.”

In the final image, the family of six are seen posing on a staircase in their Los Angeles home while clad in matching grey tracksuits.

The reality star’s revelations about North come after fans voiced suspicions on Twitter that the six-year-old had been photoshopped onto the card.

“This deff looks photoshopped,” wrote one person, while another suggested that there were inconsistencies with the lighting.

One Twitter user also asked why Kardashian West was not wearing her wedding ring.

To which she replied saying that she was in fact wearing it, “it’s just the thinnest tinest band [sic].”
