Kim Kardashian has hit back at rumours she had an affair with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, who is now dating her sister Kourtney.

Earlier this month, Travis Barker's ex-wife Shanna Moakler claimed Travis had been with Kim behind her back during their marriage from 2004 to 2006, and that infidelity was the reason for their divorce.

She told Us Weekly she had "never" been friends with the Kardashians and "I divorced my ex because, I saw them — I caught them having an affair. Someone sent me all their [text] conversations and I’m also close friends with people who were there, while things were happening."

Moakler clarified she was speaking about Kim, now 40, who met Barker, 45, when she was Paris Hilton's assistant in the early 2000s (as referenced in his 2015 memoir, Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums.)

Now, Kim has taken to Instagram Stories to rubbish the rumours during a fan Q&A, insisting the affair never happened. She was asked, "Did you hook up with Travis Barker?"

To which Kim replied, "NO! False narrative! We've been friends for years and I'm so happy for him and Kourt."

This comes as Shanna threw shade at Travis and Kourtney's PDA pics, calling them "weird", and hit out at the new couple on social media. Kourtney and Travis confirmed their relationship in January, and he now has two tattoos dedicated to her.
