Kim Kardashian just landed her first Sports Illustrated cover
Kim Kardashian has just landed her first Sports Illustrated cover and, as you might expect, the pics are pretty fire. In the snaps, Kim's seen swimming in a lagoon, straddling a motorcycle - y'know, classic swimwear activities - while wearing a variety of incredible looks. From cutout one-pieces and metallic bodysuits to latex-looking bikinis and even a totally nude looking style, there's no shortage of summer vibes coming from this shoot.
"OMG I’m a Sports Illustrated cover girl!!!! We shot this back in January and it’s been so hard to keep this cover a secret!" writes Kim on Instagram, alongside her incredible swimsuit shoot, shot by Greg Swales (@gregswalesart).
"For the location we went back to one of my favorite places in the world, the Dominican Republic!" she continues. "It’s such an honor and a dream to be on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition. Bucket List goals!!!! The post, which has already gained over 3 million likes, has also seen a loaaaad of comments from celebrities, and they're all saying the same thing: how much they love the shots.
Kylie Jenner keeps it short and sweet with the "😍" emoji, while Jen Atkin adds "Iconic!!" "Get it Kimmie 🥰🥰🥰" writes Ciara, and Mario Dedivanovic adds"🔥🔥🔥🔥😍". Lala also left a note on the post, commenting: "Gorgeous ❤️❤️😍😍😍I love these pics so much ❤️😘😘😍"
Sports Illustrated also shared the news on its own account, with the caption "KIM. KARDASHIAN. Yes, you read that correctly.
